Here at West Plano CrossFit we use and implement CrossFit Methods as our principle training program simply because we have found it to be the most effective way to produce fitness in our athletes. (We call all our clients “athletes”) At West Plano CrossFit we endeavor to develop our athletes from the inside out, from core to extremity, which is how good functional movements recruit muscle, from the core to the extremities. We train our athletes to build and improve their General Physical Preparedness to have a performance advantage; cardiovascular respiratory endurance, stamina, speed, strength, power, flexibility, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy. We want our athletes to be ready for the unknown. Aside from the breadth or totality of fitness the CrossFit Program seeks, our program is distinctive, if not unique, in its focus on maximizing neuroendocrine response, developing power, cross-training with multiple training modalities, constant training and practice with functional movements, and the development of successful diet strategies.
